The FX2N-8AD analog input module (hereinafter referred to as "FX2N-8AD") converts 8-point analog input values (voltage input, current input, and temperature input) into digital values and transmits them to the PLC main unit. FX2N-8AD can be connected to FXON, FXIN, FX2N, and FX2NC series PLCs According to the PLC main unit and connection method, the TO command can be used to set the input mode, so that analog input signals can be selected from voltage input, current input, and thermocouple input (temperature input). At this point, different analog inputs can be selected for each channel. The voltage input can be selected from -10 to+10V. The optional range for current input is from -20 to+20mA and from+4MA to+20mA. The input characteristics of each channel can be adjusted (except when displaying analog values directly). The optional range of thermocouple inputs is Class K, Class J, and Class T. (When using thermocouple input, the input characteristics cannot be adjusted.) The resolution when using voltage input is 0.63mV (20Vx1/32.000) or 2.50mV (20Vx1/8000), and the resolution when using current input is 2.5O μ A (40mAx1/16000) 5.00A (40mAx1/8000), and the resolution using thermocouple input is 0.1 . Up to two FX2N-8AD units can be connected to the FXoN main unit, FXoN expansion unit, and FXIN main unit. Up to 8 FX2N-8ADs can be connected to one FX2N series PLC. Up to 4 FX2N-8ADs can be connected to one FX2Nc series PLC (To connect to the FX2Nc series PLC, an FXNC-CNV-1F is required.) The data transfer between the FX2N-8AD buffer memory and PLC can be completed through the FROM/TO instruction.
